THE MOST PRESTIGIOUS CZECH-SLOVAK CHAMPIONSHIP ORGANIZED ON THE IRACING PLATFORM

Virtual GP (also known as VGP) is the most prestigious Czech-Slovak virtual racing championship founded in 2013. It is a unique project that aims to introduce this increasingly popular esport discipline to the audience in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and to show that success in the virtual world goes hand in hand with success on real tracks. In cooperation with the Mercedes-Benz brand and thanks to live broadcasts on O2 TV Sport, this project sets a new level in the organisation of high-quality and spectator-attractive races using the latest technology.

60.900 SPECTATORS

This was the number achieved by the most watched race of the season, which was the 7th race at Silverstone in Great Britain. The race at Daytona was the “surprise of the week” with 55,400 spectators.

THE MEDIA COVERAGE

The championship has been broadcast for the third year on O2 TV Sport, where each race was watched by an average of 31,300 viewers. The TV format is a mix of live coverage and recordings, depending on the current situation.
